VP has decided to organize a non-profit event in Ramadhan to give back to our fellow Muslim children who are less fortunate. Location: Pesantren Bina Umah, Batam Date: 6 & 7 September 2008 Price for Adults: $140 Children below the age of 12: $85 (w/o bed) Price Includes Ferry (Taxes included), Transfers from Ferry Terminal to Hotel, Transfers from Hotel to Pesantren, Transfers from Pesantren back to Hotel, Transfers from Hotel back to Ferry Terminal, Accommodation in a 4 Star Hotel, break-fast (Berbuka puasa) will be held at Pesantren and Sahur provided at the Hotel.

We’d like to open this opportunity to all of you who would be interested to contribute along with VP. In a nutshell, we would be going to the pesantren to meet and mingle around with the children. Some activities will also played with all of them. We would then be cooking for them the break-fast meals together. VP will be buying all the necessary ingredients needed for the meals beforehand. The break-fast will be held at the pesantren. We will then pray terawih with the children before returning back to our hotel. Pre-dawn meal (sahur) will be provided at the hotel. It's back! 8 Minutes season 2! And it's bigger and better! More prizes! A bigger 1st prize for the winner! Season 1 was a huge success! And expectations are much higher for this year! This competition is organised by Al-Ansar Mosque and Production Edge. The whole aim and objective is to give our youths an alternative platform to show-off their unlimited creativity, hidden super-talents and passion in film-making! In short, this is a film-making competition with a difference, there is a special and meaningful theme for it each year. This year's theme will be on the topic of 'giving', - A Resilient Community in the Spirit of Giving~  The top finalists' short-films will be played at one of our local cinemas folowed by the results of the winners.
